Westward View from Bear Fence Mountain is a photo joiner by Andrew Epstein consisting of 22 individual photographs taken in October of 2025 in Shenandoah National Park. It is available in three sizes: 12” X 18” (using 3X4 in. prints), 24” X 36” (using 6X8 in. prints), or 48” X 72” (using 12X16 in. prints). This is not a digital print. It is an original construction of 22 individual photographs mounted on masonite with a black background signed by the artist. This joiner is one of a few that features the artist’s presence over cycles of time, sometimes as a shadow, or others as in this case, his feet, which anchor the viewer to a detailed ground scape only to open outward, not into a gentle landscape, but into an atomizing one.
The artwork is constructed to order by the artist. The listed price above represents the cost of the artwork only; customizations and shipping costs will be billed to the buyer in a second, final invoice. One-third of the first payment is NONREFUNDABLE after construction of the artwork has begun. The final invoice will be emailed to the buyer upon completion of the artwork. Artwork will be shipped after the final invoice has been received. Please allow 8-10 weeks for construction and delivery.
