Bear Fence Trail is a very large photo joiner by Andrew Epstein consisting of 112 separate images taken in Shenandoah National Park in October of 2025. It is currently available in two sizes, a 30” X 55” (using 3X4 in. prints) or a 60” X 110” (using 6X8 in. prints). This is not a digital print. It is an original construction of 112 individual photographs mounted on masonite with a black background and signed by the artist. The scale of the work, especially the larger version at over nine feet tall, makes it seem like one could step right into the woods. But as one draws closer, the landscape begins to come apart even as the details of every leaf and rock come into focus.

The artwork is constructed to order by the artist. The listed price above represents the cost of the artwork only; customizations and shipping costs will be billed to the buyer in a second, final invoice. One-third of the first payment is NONREFUNDABLE. The final invoice will be emailed to the buyer upon completion of the artwork. Artwork will be shipped after the final invoice has been settled. Please allow 8-10 weeks for construction and delivery.
