Planting peppers

First round of pepper transplants went in the ground on Saturday May 16th at the Chirandu Farm in Dickerson, Maryland.

Removing the weed barrier from our plot.

Laying down organic LeafGro compost. We use no-till and organic farming methods for all our peppers.

My little babies: About 500 Ausilio, Maule’s Red Hot, and Fatalii pepper plants started from seed in my guest room at the Park View Sky Farm headquarters and test garden.

So grateful for volunteers helping me with my first real farming experience.
